You may be aware of this by now with reading my other posts but I am very passionate about healthy aging which includes financial health as well. It is actually scary how many of us in our middle age and older do not have enough saved to retire. So, I have been searching for ways to earn a passive income and I keep seeing on my feed all of this content around digital marketing.
But what is it really? Can people really make a decent income from it?
Imagine This!

Picture someone casually scrolling through their favorite social media platforms like Pinterest, TikTok, or Instagram—we all do it, right? Now, imagine they’re searching for an affordable and hassle-free dinner option. They type “simple family meal plan” into the search bar, and suddenly, a plethora of pins and videos appear. Fortunately, they stumble upon precisely what they were seeking and click on a link.
This link directs them to the digital product you crafted just once. Every time someone discovers and clicks on that meal plan, purchasing your “family-friendly meal guide,” you earn a commission! The best part? You can achieve this from anywhere with a WIFI connection, and once your setup is in place, you continue to generate income even when you’re not actively working.
Hello, passive income!
Can you Earn Money with Digital Marketing?
Yes. Although it may not be as quick of a return as you hope for. As with anything it takes time, consistency, and learning the correct way to set up your brand, identify your niche, identifying digital products to offer, and having an awesome email marketing campaign to keep your subscribers in the loop. It is certainly very rewarding once it starts rolling.
How to Start Digital Marketing?

There are multiple ways you can start digital marketing and offering Digital Products. My favorite platform for this had been Instagram.
The following are some ways to get started:
- Purchase a robust Digital Marketing Course
- Start for less with some PLR guides
- Mini Courses
What Digital Marketing Courses Do You Recommend?

I have taken over 8 Digital Marketing Courses and I do feel I have received value from each of them, but for a beginner there are ones I would specifically recommend:
1. Digital Wealth Academy: This is a robust course that is heavy on back end system set up which is what you really want to learn if you want an automated business. Their modules also go into detail on how to sell online, branding, email marketing, and more. They also have a content vault for promoting the course if you want to resell for 100% profit. Finally they have a product bank that they gift you additional PLR products. This course really sets the beginner up for success.
2. Ultimate Branding Course: Like DWA its very robust but not as focused on back end systems. This course helps you elevate your business with establishing a magnetic brand, attraction marketing, and teaching you how to sell online.
3. The Mentorship Course: all inclusive lower cost option. It is a very simple follow through course that if you get overwhelmed easily this is a great one to start with as it is clear, condensed and concise with need to know information.
I include my 1:1 Mentorship with sales strategies with all of these options.
Start for Less
If you would like to start your digital marketing business for less there are 3 mini courses I would recommend:
1. Path to Profits Mini Course: this is a 2.5 hour mini course on digital marketing basics. You can also resell this course
2. Instagram Growth Blueprint: 3 hour mini course on how to grow instagram
3. Digital Product Kickstart: this is a PDF that is 111 pages and goes through everything A to Z.
